inspire4life: Summit on Youth
Thank you for making United Way's inspire4life: Summit on Youth a tremendous success!
On January 29, United Way's Summit on Youth—a component of the inspire4life youth campaign—brought together a broad cross section of over 600 community and corporate leaders, policy makers, youth providers and key stakeholders who care about the future of our youth.
This all-day event featured keynote speaker Karen Pittman, Executive Director of The Forum for Youth Investment, and offered interactive workshops that allowed participants to learn the latest research and best practices, discuss local and statewide issues, engage in skill building opportunities and see firsthand how youth experience their programs.
In addition to workshops, participants had the chance to hear about recent recommendations put forth by the Massachusetts Special Commission on Afterschool and Out of School Time.
